Our class was approached by the local elementary school in Cove Creek, NC, to redesign their playground to improve functionality and create more interactive features for the children. A group of about 20 of us collaborated, each designing a different section of the playground.

My specific contribution was a bench with built-in storage and seating, designed for both students and teachers to use while observing activities. Positioned under the windows on the exterior of the school, it provided practicality and comfort.

This project was completed and presented to the school board shortly before my graduation and has since been built and brought to life.
